Electrolysis is a method of removing individual hairs from the face or body. Today's medical electrolysis devices destroy the growth center of the hair. It is the only FDA-approved method of permanent hair removal that works on all colors and coarseness of hair. I work in 2 methods of electrolysis, blend and thermolysis.
PROCESS & RECOMMENDATIONS:
- Electrolysis requires a commitment of time.
- Hair grows in cycles. I remove the hair we see today but "seeds" are growing under the skin. I then get those new growths at the next appointment. And then I get more at the next appointment and on and on until all the hair is gone.
- Clients who are committed and stick to the schedule get the best results. I recommend every 3 weeks to remove the new hair growth.
- I must see you to determine how long your process will take. Some people have a lot of hair, some have straggly hair. Everyone is different. Therefore an in-person consultation is recommended.
- I do not work on peach fuzz hair. Dermaplaning is recommended for soft facial hair removal.
- I work by the hour, see the rates page for cost.
- An advantage of electrolysis? It works on ALL hair types and colors. Laser only works on dark hair and it is not recommended for women's faces. It can cause more hair growth.
- Plucking hair stimulates the follicle and results in more growth. Do not tweeze unwanted hair!
- And the best part of electrolysis? It's PERMANENT! Bye -bye annoying unwanted hair!
I look forward to meeting you and helping you feel better in your skin!
SANITATION & COVID:
I am vaccinated and boosted against COVID.
I use newly packaged probes for each client. I sanitize my treatment table and instruments beyond the Idaho Cosmetology requirements between each client. I use hospital grade sanitation methods and I wear gloves and a mask during each treatment.
